Gluten Free and Casein Free Diet

GLuten is a protein found in wheat, rye, and barley.

 Removing them from the diet of an autistic individual may help reduce autistic behaviors. 

Making the change to Gluten Free and Casein Free Diet is more than a dietary change.  It is a lifestyle change.

Breakfast Foods                 

  • Bacon
  • Ham
  • Eggs
  • Gluten-Free French Toast (available in large grocery stores freezer section.)
  • Hashbrowns (check ingredient labels. Most are gluten free)
  • Fresh Fruit
  • Breakfast cereals (Chex has several gluten free)
  • Soy, Coconut or Almond milk

Lunch Ideas

             Baked Turkey, Baked Sweet Potato & Steamed Broccoli

             Taco (Corn shell/tortilla. ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, Daiya cheddar style shreds & gluten-free salsa)

             Grilled Chicken Nuggets and Natural Cut Fries

Dinner Meals

           Grilled Steak Kabobs, Steamed Jasmine Rice & Fresh Fruit Salad

            Roasted Chicken, Potato Salad & Green Beans

            Grilled Shrimp, Homemade Mashed Potato & Steamed Asparagus
