Gluten Free and Casein Free Diet

What is Gluten?

Gluten is a protein found in wheat, rye, and barley.

What is Casein?

Casein is a protein found in milk and dairy product.

Examples: Cheese, sour cream, ice cream, butter, etc.

Why remove gluten and casein proteins?

Many parents report removing these proteins from the diet of their autistic child helps reduce autistic behaviors.  As, a parent I strongly agree with these findings. Our son experienced amazing results on the gluten-free and casein-free diets.

However, every person on the Autism Spectrum is different. Individual results may vary.

Making the change to Gluten Free and Casein Free Diet is more than just a dietary change.  It is a lifestyle change.

Caution: Consult your medical team before making changes to anyone's diet.
